[IRP] Just an idea...

Dear Ben, Fatima and all

To my knowledge the Free expression coalition did not really go
anywhere.. other than being absorbed into the IRP (internet rights and
principles coalition).

APC was one of the founding partners of the 'free expression'
coalition... so am I fairly certain I would have heard if there was any
follow up.

In general with IGF dynamic coalitions there has been a trend for them
to fizzle out, with some notable exceptions such as this one.

And much of this coalition's success can be attributed to first Lisa
Horner and now Dixie's hard work, as well as the work of the people that
have supported them and who contributed to the charter process.

My reading of this coalition is that people in it care broadly about
human rights on the internet, and I don't see a need for a new coalition
within the IGF framework.

Best regards

Anriette
