Dear Sir/Madame,

We are pleased to invite you to participate (online) in the Council of 
Europe’s Regional Conference “Media in times of War”, which will be held 
in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 12-13 October 2022.

The Conference aims at facilitating exchange among media stakeholders of 
five Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, 
Moldova and Ukraine. Five thematic sessions will elaborate on topics 
such as media regulation, safety of journalists, disinformation, hate 
speech and conflict-sensitive media coverage. A separate, sixth session, 
will elaborate on/discuss and reflect the media landscape in Ukraine and 
the current challenges it faces. Two side events will be offered during 
the conference: a photo exhibition “The Russian war against Ukraine: 
Work of journalists” (on 12 October 2022) and the screening of 
documentary MARIUPOLIS 2 - Festival de Cannes (festival-cannes.com)

Europe.
