Lisa,
Sounds great and gives us a few days to organize.
I presume this is something the Swedish minsitry won't object to or?
Ideally there is press event in Stockholm with Lisa or frank, maybe random Hollywood - or Bollywood - celebrity to get press attention to Sweden; rest of us can amplify or link to that.
And definitely it needs to get into Huffington or maybe new york times op/ed...or...there's lots of other outlets so it may be good...for lisa? to craft baseline blurb which folks tweak to audience and outlet...
Anyway, I am in transit rest of today so whatever folks come up with is good, but the more can make clear that this came from a diverse global group the better...maybe remote endorser/talking heads popping up saying nice things about this eg parminder from india...someone in Egypt would be pr-wise great move...
good luck, and happy to help where I cna thoough mianly on planes or in marathon workshop sessions for next few days...
Lee

Hi all
Great - we've just sent off to the designer and printer. Very exciting! Thanks again for all of the hard work and expert input on this...I think we've got a really sharp set of principles which is fantastic.
I think it would be great to launch them with a splash as Lee suggests. Just had a quick chat with Brett, and we think it might be a good idea to launch next Wednesday 30th March, to coincide with the Stockholm meeting on freedom of expression and the Internet being held by the Swedish ministry of foreign affairs with Frank La Rue. It would be great to develop a plan around this.... I think we'll need to:
- Have the principles online
- Be ready to Tweet and promote via Facebook etc.
- All distribute through our networks
- Write and distribute a press release
- Write blog posts, and if possible op eds...anyone think it might be possible to get an op ed onto the Huffington post and/or elsewhere?
- Anything else? Ideas, thoughts?
Thanks,
Lisa
