Dear Parminder, Katitza, Robin

I understand and agree to your point. Let me explain the situation: I was
invited to this italian think-tank meeting because of the historic role
Italy (namely Stefano Rodota) has played in the creation of one of the
joined parts of our coalition. I participated as good as I could in the
working group (my italian is quite limited) but managed to have the group
include references to Human Rights as well as initiate the process to setup
a italian online rights infringement clearning house complementing the
US-centric chillingeffects.

Again I understand and agree that copyright and other human rights are
different creatures and should not have been raised together. The text was
only available in italian and i missed this - I hope you can forgive my
oscitancy to this sentence.

Yours,
Max
