[IRPCoalition] Fw: [DC] Internet We Want Framework | Inputs Deadline Extended to Friday, 8 March

Thank you! I would demand, on my part, that the defence of human rights
in the "Internet We Want" not become subservient to capitalist
interests. I note an absence of criticism to the fact that services that
ought to be provided as public services are only accessible via business
monopols. Joseph Stiglitz has rightly noted, in a recent speech, that
social networks for public interaction online should *also* be provided
by national states. This enables, in some states at least, a more
transparent alternative than platforms owned by businesses. I would not
like to live in a city where every steet is privately owned. Nor is an
internet in which every communication channel is privately owned the
Internet I want. This is the message I send, as a stakeholder, to other
stakeholders. Kind regards, GA
