Subject: [GISW-Authors] GISWatch 2020 Call for Proposals: Country Reports
To: <GISW-Authors at lists.apc.org>

Dear GISWatch authors,

Apologies to those of you who may have received this notice already, but
we wanted to make sure that all previous contributors to the GISWatch
report receive the newly launched call for proposals for GISWatch 2020!

After extensive deliberation and preparation, the theme for 2020 will
be: "Technology, the environment and a sustainable world: Responses from
the global South". From the feedback we have received (and sincere
thanks to those who gave their input), it is clear that this is a very
timely and important topic to explore.

Full details and the terms of reference for proposals can be found here:

https://www.apc.org/en/node/36333/

The deadline to apply is *20 May 2020*.

We hope that many of you will consider submitting a proposal for the
2020 edition. Please feel free to share this announcement with your
networks, colleagues and fellow researchers whom you feel may be
interested, and do reach out if you have any questions.

Warm greetings and best wishes,
-Maja
