*EuroDIG News 03/2018*

*/Innovative strategies for our digital future …/*

/… is the 2018 overarching theme on which  participants agreed during
the open planning meeting in Tbilisi./

*Consolidated EuroDIG programme out now!
*We incorporated the results from the public planning meeting
<https://www.eurodig.org/index.php?id=112&no_cache=1>and the feedback we
received during the comment period. All titles are working titles and
the focus will be set by the Org Teams as well as they will agree on the
speakers. It is now time to fine tune the consolidated programme
<https://eurodigwiki.org/wiki/Consolidated_programme_2018>and we invite
everyone to shape the sessions!

*Get involved and subscribe **to the Org Teams of your interest! *

We provide mailing list on each session subpage in the EuroDIG wiki
<https://eurodigwiki.org/wiki/Consolidated_programme_2018>and everyone
is invited to join the Org Teams, even at a later stage. The archived
mailing lists and the information on the wiki shall help to catch up
what has been discussed. If you would not like to join the Org Team but
would like to leave a comment please use the discussion page for the
respective session. To do so please contact wiki at eurodig.org
<mailto:wiki at eurodig.org>to get access to the wiki.

*Want to become a Focal Point?*

We are still in the process of reaching out to potential Focal Points,
the people that take the responsibility for a session and work in close
cooperation with Subject Matter Experts and the EuroDIG Secretariat.
Please let us know <mailto:office at eurodig.org>if you consider taking up
this role. The Secretariat would like to create a good mixture of Focal
Points by considering stakeholder group, region, gender, age balance but
also weight between experienced EuroDIG’ers and new faces.

*Registration is open!*

You can now register for EuroDIG in June. It is free of charge but
pre-registration <https://www.eurodig.org/index.php?id=573>is mandatory
and possible until 31 May 2018.
