[IRP] R: French translation

I think that in a "Knowledge Society" access, openess, multiculturality, privacy, neutrality, sharing, are all part of the same challenge to develop a qualitative innovation. In this way both >"technical and policy innovation" < are part of a cognitive ecosystem, adjoining areas in relationship. Every technical choice determines more or less possibilities freely use of a open, cooperative, not mediated and interactive ecosystem.Very crucial and interesting question to discuss.

Hi 
In this context technical and policy innovation are two distinct areas. Both descriptive of separate aspects of Internet and governance. Both should be discussed.

And about "technical and policy innovation" - again, others will probably know more than me about this area - but I take it to mean both technical and policy innovation. In terms of policy innovation, I suppose any innovative policy that encourages cultural and linguistic diversity in content, for  example, programmes to teach/encourage people from linguistic minorities to publish local-language content on the Internet, or for state actors to publish content online in minority languages (as well as majority languages). Does that make sense?

Hi Meryem,

I think "equality" is another way of saying non-discrimination, i.e. that it refers to equality of access to content (i.e. to content or ability of publishing), rather than equality of physical access. But perhaps Parminder would be best to reply as he suggested the wording?
