Sorry ? should have given a bit more context to email I sent before.  I forwarded it as an example of the need for better transparency and procedure on the part of intermediaries such as social networking sites  in their procedures regarding the moderation and/or removal of content and accounts.  I don?t claim to know much about the case, but have heard that the union encourages people to report ?offensive? material online.  I don?t believe that restrictions of expression online should be encouraged.  But I have heard of a number of cases of a lack of transparency around the procedure of closing social network sites, and forwarded it as an example of that.
