[IRP] [Expression] Slim Amamou (and other bloggers) arrested in Tunisia

Hello Meryem, Dixie and friends,

This is indeed such an unfortunate development. I know Slim personally and
hope he would be released soon. I have just put up a banner on my website (
http://yemenportal.net) and have sent out an appeal to several Arab bloggers
and friends. I'll be in Cairo for a conference on Internet freedom and would
push for some action on behalf of the participants for both Slim and Ali
Abdulemam who remains imprisoned in Bahrain and whom I also know personally.

Thanks and let's keep up the pressure. Do keep us posted if you hear any
news.

Sincerely,

Walid
