Dear all,
I am thrilled and honoured to represent this coalition once again as a member of the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) Programme Committee, and I very much look forward to meeting many of you in Brussels next May 26th -27th.
Preparations for the EuroDIG 2026 are now underway, and expert input and collaboration from IGF Dynamic Coalitions are both essential and most welcome.
Comments on the draft programme are open until 15 February, and the public planning meeting will take place next Tuesday, 17 February, from 12:00 to 15:30 UTC (please see the email below for further details).
Very best wishes,
Minda

We are pleased to announce that Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy, will deliver an opening keynote at EuroDIG 2026 on May 26. In her role, she addresses complex security challenges facing the EU while strengthening democracy, fundamental rights and justice.
She is also responsible for the Digital and Frontier Technologies portfolio, overseeing progress towards the Digital Decade targets, advancing artificial intelligence, cloud, data and quantum strategies, enforcing the Digital Services Act and Digital Markets Act, and promoting a safer and more trustworthy online environment.
Reminders: Next Steps and Public Planning Meeting
Until the end of this week, February 15, the EuroDIG community is invited to comment on the <https://www.eurodig.org/get-involved/planning-process/#tab-programme-planning> draft programme<https://www.eurodig.org/get-involved/planning-process/#tab-programme-planning> for EuroDIG 2026. This feedback is essential to help us identify missing topics, improve the overall structure, and ensure that the programme reflects the diversity of perspectives within the EuroDIG community.
Newcomers to Internet Governance, who are between 18 and 30 years old, can apply to participate in <https://www.eurodig.org/get-involved/youthdig/#tab-call-for-application-26> YOUthDIG<https://www.eurodig.org/get-involved/youthdig/#tab-call-for-application-26> until February 16. Selected participants are fully funded to take part in an intensive learning and exchange programme that combines capacity building, policy discussions, and intercultural dialogue.
We encourage everyone to join the virtual public planning meeting on 17 February, from 12:00 to 15:30 UTC. This meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the draft programme for EuroDIG 2026 collectively, review the comments received, and exchange views on which topics may still be missing or require further attention. Registration<https://www.eurodig.org/get-involved/planning-process/#tab-programme-planning> is open<https://www.eurodig.org/get-involved/planning-process/#tab-programme-planning>.
