Dear Marianne, all,
Thank you so much for sharing this call a while ago: I completely agree that the IRPC should contribute to this call. It is vital that dynamic coalitions - as bottom-up networks within the IGF ecosystem, are actively engaged and contributing for these important discussions and processes.
The IRPC has over a decade-long of work and outputs in the main areas covered by the paper, particularly - as Marianne highlighted, on the "rights-respecting" rubric: we should definitely get involved! The deadline is fast-approaching, but we still have time to include our input.
I have created this google doc<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RbopArGY97FyJJ9NWYCNG0MQlD9Zsbgz2QvbifxINRs/edit?usp=sharing> on behalf of the IRPC SC (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RbopArGY97FyJJ9NWYCNG0MQlD9Zsbgz2QvbifxINRs/edit?usp=sharing).
Please feel free to add your comments to the IGF Leadership Panel draft paper on "The Internet We Want".
The IRPC SC will collect all the input and to draft and submit our contribution by Wednesday 28th February.
We are collaborating with our sister DC on Core Internet Values<https://www.coreinternetvalues.org/> and we will be referring to each other's work in our contributions.
Very best wishes,
Minda

Dear all
I hope this email finds you well. The call below is an outcome from the 2023 IGF meeting in Kyoto; an initiative that a number on this listserv are already part of. As human rights becomes a core principle for internet policy-making agendas, the IRPC Charter <https://internetrightsandprinciples.org/charter/> and other IRPC projects <https://internetrightsandprinciples.org/> have insights that can contribute to this call.
Note that the principles highlighted in the vision paper echo the Ten Internet Rights and Principles<https://internetrightsandprinciples.org/campaign/> campaign that launched the IRPC Charter back in 2010/11 - screenshot below.
What can the Internet Rights and Principles Coalition offer to the "Rights-Respecting" rubric listed below for instance?

What can the Internet Rights and Principles Coalition offer to the "Rights-Respecting" rubric of this Leadership Panel initiative below for instance?
Warm wishes
