Morning everyone
Looking forward to seeing IRPC list members at WS#184 this afternoon to
discuss and generate some action points at the intersection of AI, Human
Rights, and Sustainability. We have a stellar line-up of speakers who
are also looking forward to fielding questions from the audience.
Speakers will be addressing how their work and experience can respond to
the question animating this session: " What if current AI trajectories -
now indispensable to how internet and other digital technologies work -
are actually undermining the future of human rights and the natural world?"
To get things going we have an online poll: One question. It is now open
*Audience Poll: **https://www.menti.com/igcrztzbxh**: The code is 1410 2732*

Also, to recall that this session continues the pioneering work of the
IRPC on linking Human Rights, IG, and environmental sustainabilitz over
the last few years - speaking from Article 4 (b) of the Charter of Human
Rights and Principles for the Internet
<https://internetrightsandprinciples.org/charter/>: now a major pathway
in this IGF annual meeting, and intersessionals
Thanks in advance to all our speakers, Minda M who is moderating the
Chat (all questions and comments there, or requests to speak) and
Michael O who is moderating participation on-site in Katowice (if you
are in the room, please let Michael know if you have a question if you
cannot get into the Zoom link).
Final point for all spoken interventions: the time limit of 3 minutes
_maximum_ will be strictly observed!
Warm wishes
MF
