The survey results are a unanimous "yes" for us to sign on to APCs statement and also to issue our own statement to support, and raise awareness about, Frank La Rue's report. The statement can be viewed here: http://internetrightsandprinciples.org/node/418 Please forward it on (especially to those who might not have heard about Frank's important work!)

At Eurodig we had a great Internet Rights and Principles workshop entitled "What is the role of human rights in Internet Governance?". Meryem Marzouki, Tapani Tarvainen, Bill Drake and Eric Ronson were all on the panel, the report will be uploaded on the Eurodig website soon.

Finally, a couple of documents were mentioned during the workshop which might be of interest:
1. The European Court of Human Rights have released a factsheet compiling all of the decisions that they have passed with regards to the Internet. http://bit.ly/l6NWqm
2. UNESCO has just released a new publication: Freedom of Connection ? Freedom of Expression: The Changing Legal and Regulatory Ecology Shaping the Internet. http://portal.unesco.org/ci/en/ev.php-URL_ID=31418&URL_DO=DO_TOPIC&URL_SECTION=201.html

Best wishes!
Dixie
