Hi all,

I wanted to formally introduce myself to the group, as I've been
following for the past year. I unfortunately had to cancel my trip to
IGF in India, so I did not get a chance to meet some of you there.

I'm a PhD student at the Annenberg School of Communication at the
University of Southern California, where I'm studying with Manuel
Castells. My broad areas of research are global social movements,
Internet governance, privacy policy, and global media. I also studied
at the London School of Economics for my MSc.

I look forward to participating in the group.

Kind regards,
Lauren Movius
