The </span><a href="https://citiesfordigitalrights.org/home" data-auth="NotApplicable"><span lang="EN-US">Cities for Digital Rights |</span></a><span lang="EN-US">, launched by the Cities of Amsterdam, Barcelona and New York in November 2018 and now with a
membership of over 55 cities, is a network of cities helping each other in the greenfield of digital rights based policy-making. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10.5pt; font-family:"Corbel",sans-serif; color:black">The Coalition's Principles are
inspired by the Internet Rights and Principles Coalition based at the UN Internet Governance Forum and in this endeavour the Coalition Cities have been joined by United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG)
and Eurocities in an effort to promote and defend digital rights in urban context through city action, to resolve common digital challenges and work towards legal, ethical and operational frameworks to advance human rights in digital environments.<br>

With 4 year in the way in practically applying these principles in the digital transformation of local governments, we have worked hard on the past year to summarize the learnings in a practical and coherent guide for cities to undertake actions and start engaging
with the topic. <br>
We are currently piloting the guide in 4 cities, until march 2023 and we are looking for possibilities and funding to scale up the work in different regions.

support accessible to cities and communities on topics such as inclusive digital transformation, digital governance, and digital human rights. It aims at contributing to accelerating people-centered digital transformation by addressing local needs.<br>
